Angel Tree
The Holy Spirit Angel Tree project has been a part of our Parish for twenty-five plus years. Each November we put up a Christmas tree in the Church gallery that is covered with tags that correspond to the individual agencies that we work with each year.
We currently partner several agencies in the River Region:Montgomery County DHR to provide Christmas gifts to babies and children that are being served through Foster Care and Child Protective Services.Catholic Social Services to provide gift cards that are used by their outreach program throughout the year-not just Christmas to support their clientele.Crises pregnancy centers:COPE to provide gift cards and monetary donations that are used throughout the year to support expectant and new moms that come to them for assistance.Mary’s Haven to provide gift cards and monetary donations that are used throughout the year to support expectant and new moms that come to them for assistance.We are always in need of volunteers to aid us each year as we work to ensure the success of this project so that we can help those that need us the most!Contact Elizabeth Gregorius at 334-324-1320 for more information on volunteer opportunities or to ask questions.Hospitality Committee

The Facilities and Grounds Ministry help enrich our parish environment with the upkeep of the facilities and grounds.
This ministry offers you the ability to use your God given talents to serve others by fulfilling the needs and challenges that the upkeep of a parish offers.

Family Events Committee
Designed to bring families together for fellowship, fun, and meaningful engagement through activities that strengthen relationships and build a sense of community.
We hope to create a fun and safe environment where families can come together and have meaningful moments and memories.
We host a variety of events throughout the year such as dances, trivia nights, and fun seasonal activities like trunk-or-treat.

Mission
The primary mission of the Holy Spirit Senior Spirits group is to provide Social and Spiritual support to its members with church sponsored activities. We accomplish this through regularly scheduled activities that foster relationships within the senior community. We embrace our diversity and are enthusiastic about participating in Parish activities to the extent we are able.
Activites
We meet for a Fall luncheon, Christmas luncheon and a Saint Patrick’s luncheon.
We also support a Parish or local Catholic charity with contributions.
We encourage all senior members of our Parish, 50 and older, to join us to help carry out our mission to both socially and spiritually support our Parish and fellow parishioners as they journey through their golden years.

Coordinate birthday parties for residents in Seaton Haven Senior Living
Activities
Monthly meetings for party arrangement and gift giving. Birthday party and fun games.
Donations are always needed for the monthly Birthday Parties. Please place your new or gently used gift items in the basket behind the 10 Commandments wall in the vestibule of the church. Gift Cards are always welcome, please take them to the church office.

Members of this ministry,
who must be Extrordinary Eucharistic Ministers of Holy Communion from Holy Spirit Parish, bring the Blessed Sacrament (on a rotating basis) to the homebound and to those in nursing facilities on a weekly basis. Friday is the designated day; however, if that is not possible, the Minister of Holy Communion may adjust the day.

The Welcome Committee seeks to consistently and personally welcome all newly registered parishioners by connecting them with the resources they need to fully join our Parish. You can get involved by volunteering to help with any or all of our three tasks: contacting each family as they register, handing out welcome bags two weekends in August after each Mass, and hosting a reception for new members in September.
